The Nokia C6 Smartphone is almost identical to the Nokia N97 Mini. The designers of the Nokia C6 wanted to make the phone more affordable, so they kept the same basic design of the N97 Mini, but they removed various components that caused the Mini be worth so much. For example, the quality of the pictures taken with the Mini’s camera is much better than the ones taken with the C6. Even though both model’s have a 5 mega pixel resolution camera, the Mini uses Carl Zeiss optics. The C6 does not use Carl Zeiss optics.
Now, just because the designers were concentrating on making the C6 more affordable, doesn’t mean it’s bad. In fact, many people believe this model to be one of the best Smart phones released in 2010. The plastic material is very firm and durable; even if you drop this phone on the floor several times it won’t do any damage. Of course, testing your phone’s strength in this fashion is not recommended.
Nokia C6 Specifications
The Nokia C6 android phone contains a qwerty keyboard, meaning you don’t have to press one button several times to choose the letter you want, all the letters are individual buttons. It also has a 3.2” touch screen, making it as easy as ever to interact with the device. The Nokia C6 has two cameras, one for video calls, and another to snap pictures. The C6 phone uses an operating system known as Symbian S60 5th edition, with a CPU speed of 434 mhz. The Phone also contains 512 mb of NAND memory plus another 126 from SDRAM, so as you can imagine, you can quickly navigate through out your device without encountering any freezes or hangs.
Connectivity
It has never been easier to interact with friends, check your email, or simply surf the web than it is with the C6 model. Like most modern phones, it contains a 2.0 Bluetooth connection, which makes transferring files from one phone to another as swift as possible. When you need to transfer files to your computer from your phone you can do so via a 2.0 USB connection the cell is equipped with. Of course, the phone also contains an excellent WLAN connection, allowing you to access the internet for nearly anywhere. You can also track your location, or check your maps by using the phones excellent GPRS system.
Weight and Size.
Many customers have complained about the weight of this product, claiming that it puts too much strain on their hand muscles. Of course, if 150 grams is hard to carry around I don’t know what we can do for you. The phone’s dimensions are 113.4 x 53 x 16.8 mm, it’s not too small and not too big, you can read easily off the screen.
Nokia C6 Price.
As I mentioned early, this phone was designed to be more affordable. You can find the phone in stores for about 200 Euros. So, if you have this type of money, I recommend giving this phone a shot.
